Jio Postpaid Customers Can Pick Their Number for Just Rs 499 – Here’s How
Jio is now allowing postpaid subscribers to choose their preferred mobile number for a one-time booking fee of Rs 499. The feature provides users with a certain level of customization, enabling them to select their desired 4-digit number combination. To avail of the service, new users must visit the Jio Choice Number page and log in with OTP verification, providing the desired number combination. The service is currently available only to postpaid subscribers. Once the booking fee is paid and the SIM is activated, users can start using their chosen number.
To choose your preferred Jio postpaid number, follow these steps:
- Visit the Jio Choice Number page.
- Click on the Start button and provide your current mobile number for OTP verification.
- Enter your name, PIN code, and a 4-digit number combination of your choice.
- Choose the number you want from the available options.
- Click on the Book button and pay the one-time booking fee of Rs 499.
- You will receive an SMS with the booking code. Share it with the Jio agent during the SIM activation process.
- Ensure that the Jio number is activated within 15 days of booking.
Vodafone Idea (Vi) has also been offering similar services to its users, providing postpaid and prepaid options for fancy VIP numbers. Users can either choose from the operator’s listed free and premium numbers or provide a desired number combination.
